Miranda Rodriguez
Senior Judge Advisor
Miranda Rodriguez has been a dedicated volunteer with FIRST since 2007, starting with Team 1817, the Llano Estacado Roboraiders, as a programming mentor. She continued to volunteer in one way or another until eventually becoming a Judge Advisor in 2019 and then Senior Judge Advisor in 2020, a role she continues to serve.
Beyond FIRST, Miranda is a cybersecurity lawyer who holds a BS in Computer Science from Texas Tech (2008) and a JD from Texas A&M (2015). She resides in DeSoto, TX, with her wife, nephew, and four cats, and enjoys playing bass clarinet with the Oak Lawn Band. She hopes to use her passion for technology, law, and community to support the FIRST in Texas family for many seasons to come!
